On tap at the Promenade Beer & Wine Festival held in Downtown Long Beach in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a hazy gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty but has a slightly better hop aroma in my opinion.

7-24-15 bottled date 7-31-15 drank

A: golden straw with a tint of orange. Pretty clear. Creamy white head
S:citrus. Grass. Resin. Malt. Orange creamsicle.
T: yea this is awesome. Simple yet done pristinely. Bitter but far from overly. It's the perfect bitterness with great malt backbone. It has a distinct creaminess to it. I would say there were oats added but I don't think there was. It has a great softness to it. Orange creamsicle again. Some pine on the finish with that fresh cut grass. Did I mention how good this is?
F: the mouthfeel on this is one of the best I've had on an IPA. As stated numerous times it's soooo creamy and smooth. Coats the mouth leaving you wanting another sip This drinks with EASE.
O: El Segundo has been killin it with IPAs and this is no different. Super simple but done perfectly. There needs to be an appreciation for what they have accomplished here. Bitter with good sweet malt. Smooth finish. Great IPA

Just released yesterday. Still not sure if this is a one-time or rotating brew. Had it on tap at Naja's Place in Redondo. Nice, crisp, clean taste and lots of great hops taste (they used Amarillo and Centennial). Not over the top. Another great IPA from ESBC. Will absolutely seek this one out again soon.

22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip

A: Pours a deep golden orange with a bright full white head, lots of lacing, good head retention, lots of carbonation streaming up the sides.

A: Citrus, tangerine skins, touch of guava, peach, apricot, on the sweet and citrusy side, smells nice.

T: Follows the nose, tangerine skins, some guava, peach, touch of piney dryness, moderate amount of bitterness, finish is dry, pine and citrus linger in the aftertaste.

M: Light/medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation and a nice dry crisp finish.

O: Great appearance and aroma, but the taste falls short of both, still very enjoyable, drinkable and balanced, a solid beer, probably won't seek this one out again as I think El Segundo has better beers than this.

Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Bottled May 22 / 2014.

Deep brass yellow, with a nice apricot orange body, with some slight cloudy character. Head is a creamy off white and three fingers tall with some retention. Settles with little lacing and a one finger somewhat thick puck.

Good hint of malt toast quality, and some citrus orange fruit hop character. Some mild floral sense but hop angle is a bit small and subtle. Still quite good.

Juiced body mouthfeel a little, with a solid bit of sugared sweetness. Fruit angle comes out a little candied with some mild hop bitterness on the finish. A good sense of zest and oils as well, with a decent palate coating. A good baked bread and citrus mix balance in the palate between malt and hop.

Overall just a pretty solid IPA.
