Thanks goes out to larryi86 for this brew.

12.7 oz. Bottle
Caged/Corked
Best Before: 14/02/2027

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear golden dark yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger creamy/foamy/fizzy white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, lemon, nice funkyness, tart, slight oak, some spicyness. The taste is malty, yeasty, funky, nice lemon note, tart, nice touch of oak, spicy. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, my first from this brewery. Very tasty, true to style. Thanks Larry for the chance.

It pours orange with a very thin head that goes away almost instantly. The aroma is acidic and funky, with some very light lemony notes. The taste is sour and bitter with very little in terms of sweetness. It feels a bit unbalanced but the more you drink it the more you appreciate it. Medium body.

Poured from 12.7 oz bottle into glass. Hazy, orange body.
No head and no lacing.
Complex aroma, fermented, lime, apple, pear, barnyard funk.
Tastes like wine, dry and oaky, grape and oak, very dry.
Smooth, drink through body.
Unlike almost all U.S. brews, very Belgian, total Lambic. So close in aroma and taste to wine. Sour and delicious.

It pours hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Duration of foam is average, but it leaves a nice cover on top. Funky smell of brett is inviting; barnyard, vinegar, citrus and slightly woody aromas are in the nose. What a vinous, complex taste! It's fairly acidic sour with lemon, pear and touch of vanilla. Sweetness of wheat and slight bitterness of oak support the complexity of taste. Light bodied. Very fizzy on the palate. Gently puckering and dry finish. Very easy to drink for a gueuze. Very difficult to brew it, a masterpiece !

2014-15 bottling. Just couldn't wait any longer so grabbed this one and split with with the wife while picnicking post a Sunday morning mountain bike ride.

This is a slightly hazy bright orange brew that tops off with a tall and bubbly off-white froth.

Redolent of lemon zest, orange, damp hay, and yes, manure. I asked my wife to confirm the latter aroma, which she did, and then asked why I would drink somethng that smelled like manure...therefore the taste...

...involves an array of light fruits such as orange, pear, apple and white grape followed by grain, discarded fruit pith, wet wood, and faint spice. Not as tart as it is just plain damp and funky, which is just the way I like em'.

Medium with a soft middle up front but finishes unltra-dry.

A very complex and flavorful brew that isn't too high falutin' to work well on an occasion when you want something special, but you don't want to be pretentious. Or something like that.

Beautiful pour, and a lovely nose - but whether it's from the green glass bottle or from the beer itself in its natural state, this just has too much skunk and funk for me. There's also an awful lot of suspended stuff in the beer - even after a very slow, deliberate pour. Perhaps this just isn't my bag - I like sour and a little funk, but not outright skunk.
