Rating is based on Batch 1 from 2010/2011. Also had 2012/2013 side-by-side which was also nice, but not quite as good as the older iteration. Both poured from bottle into gueuze glass at Monk's in Philadelphia.

Nice vibrant and hazy golden, aromas of sweat, blue cheese funk, mild black pepper, and a strong tartness. High carbonation, juicy flavors and moderately drying. Very nice.

Pours a solid gold with little head, slight bubbles.

Smell is old and danky sourness, like an old lemon. Some oak in there, and tartness that stings your nose. Not alot of vinegar really

Taste is similar with loads of lemon and hay. Quite bitter, with a soft puckery essense that lasts on the tongue for a while.

Carb was ok, they told me it was flat, it was not. This is just about right.

Overall not my favorite gueuze, but still an amazing beer.
