On tap at the Local Taphouse. Classified here as a Munich Helles since they call it a cross between a Hells Lager and an American IPA.

Pours a lightly hazy golden, steady bead. Head is white, fairly foamy with very small bubbles. Lacing is nice. Looks pretty awesome.

Smells citric and tangy. Fresh, with a touch of pineapple and passionfruit. Orange, lemon dominate. Good pungency, but bright and refreshing. Yum.

Taste is tangy and citric. Light lagery front with quick, early and strong lemon notes. Some flat-lining of the hops gives stonefruit - peach, maybe a touch of mango (Citra? Is that you?) but never gets too bitter; just tangy and fruity and finishes clean as a Disney-produced hygiene film. Yummo.

Bit of a tingle to it; goes with the style but accentuates the hop pull in ways it shouldn't. I guess nothing's perfect.

Cracking lager. Full of character but clean and smashable. Smashing beer in general.
