poured 12 oz bottle into snifter.
A - Pours a thick dark brown body with a massive (to the top of glass) suede head. Retention is incredible and it looks so creamy and delicious. Lacing is all over the glass. It really looks perfect for a porter.
S - Roasted malts, milk and dark chocolates, and hints of French roast. Some earthy hops are hidden in the aroma. Not picking up the cola I am used to in Porters.
T - Good amounts of roasted malt, plenty of chocolate and French roast notes. There is also a good amount o f earthiness from the hops, and light nutty notes. It is both sweet, but with some bitter on the finish.
M - Has a medium body, yet has a nice creamy mouthfeel. Good carbonation.
O - This is a nice and different approach on a Porter. It really does seem to bridge a Porter to a Stout. I am used cola like flavors, but could not pick any up in this. A good one to try.

Deep brown to light black in color with a quarter inch of brown on top. The aroma is of milk chocolate and caramel. I’m tasting marzipan and chestnuts. The mouth is lightly oily and dry.

Poured a mug at the brewpub. Head quickly dissipates to a ring with some lacing; opaque black. Smell of toasty malts, coconut. Flavor rich, roasty, not complex. Smooth mouth feel. More an American porter than English or Baltic, fine example of the style.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This mighty fine porter
pours a rich coal black with thin cola highlights and a nice
head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and
displays some very nice lacing. Nose of dark chocolate, cream,
char, and faint coffee. Flavors follow and surpass by presentation
with a rich mocha coffee note, heavy on the chocolate with a
nice touch of cream and balanced char note with touches of
dark fruit. Very nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth,
rich, coating, sweet, medium light carbonation that offers
some nice lift, and a roasted finish that is perfect for
the style.
Overall, one of the best newer to the area porters I
have tried this year. Awesome, we shall buy more!
This brewery in 2 brews has impressed the heck out
of me....must seek more!
Cheers

Just a rating because I believe the bottle is old. Butter aroma through the foot high head and burnt roasted barley flavor.

Black with a strong head and cap. Chocolate malt nose. Light-medium body, some dry chalkiness on the finish.

Once (or if) you figure out how to pour this stuff, it's pretty good! Jet black with a head that quickly overwhelms your glass unless you pour at a trickle. Nice coffee flavor with a few more fruity elements that sneak in here and there, a more creamy feel than a lot of porters. Other than the frustration of spilling head everywhere the first three attempts, I loved it.

Pours a dark black with a minima tan head that disappears quickly. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Smells sweet. Taste is initially hoppy with some smokeyness.

Brown/black liquid.
Dark khaki head; thick lace.
Peanut butter & chocolate nose; nice!
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Peanut butter & chocolate flavor, but not as bold as the nose promised.
Decent.
