"Imperial Red IPA"
Draft at Village Tap.

When backlit it looks more of a dark orange. Thin collar around the edges, head fades fast to glassy oblivion. Slight haziness.

Smell is somewhat muted, some vague citrus zest is there.

Taste is sweet fruit cocktail can up front with a lingering piney, chalky bitterness that lasts a couple minutes. Medium bodied and slightly sticky on the lips. Overall it's ok, but not a big fan of the taste.

Smell of pine and fruit. Good dark Amber color. A good solid brew.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a twelve ounce bottle on January 11, 2015. Tasted again on May 15, 2016. Look is hazy dark amber with a tan head and lingering lacing. Smell is a malt bomb with toffee, caramel and toast aromas overwhelming some faint wafts of citrus and grass. Taste is sweet toffee and caramel with some bitter citrus, tropical, pine and grass flavors. Feel is medium in body and smooth in the finish.
