From BeerAdvocate Magazine #89 (June 2014):

Crisp, Tart, Wood, Bitter

We’ve found a hidden gem here, this pale colored brew looks like pretty much any other beer donning a great head. From a thick oakiness to a bold tartness, crisp lighter bodied palate to tea-like bitterness this brew comes off as absolutely amazing.

Shared bottle on 31st Jan 2014, at De Bierboom, Brugge: a Belgian Beer Board gathering.

Blonde, with a amber hue, mild haze to the body: small white head.

Yeasty, citrusy nose with some bread maltiness in a cooking apple bowl: all of which had turned a little sour.

The taste was a semi-sour mixture of what the aroma had prepared me for, yeasty, citrusy, bready and appley.

I thought it different and pleasant, not really my sort of beer, but I genuinely enjoyed it. Leans towards a 'scrumpy cider' in texture and taste.

Had a bottle at Churchkey, DC. An excellent beer, and a strange one too!
Smell of funky tartness, dill, vinegar.
Taste of refreshing tartness, very sour fruit, very green mango. I can still taste the dill. However, you can feel the malt back too. However, there's the alcohol underneath it; it's latent, but you can feel that it's out there to get you. Extremely complex taste.

Great beer, only hope that it will be more common and easy to find!

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy bright golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, pear, apple, white wine, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, grass, leather, oak, musty funk, light white vinegar, bread, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, wine barrel, earthy hop, and light pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, pear, apple, white wine, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, grass, leather, oak, musty funk, light white vinegar, bread, and yeast/oak earthiness. Good amount of yeast spiciness, herbal bitterness, and tannic tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, pear, apple, white wine, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, grass, leather, oak, musty funk, light white vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, wine barrel, earthy hop, and light pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from tart/bitter/spicy notes as well. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately tannic/acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding Belgian wild ale! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, wine barrel, earthy hop, and light pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Between a gueuze and a flanders red ale. Tart but not sour. Fruity, spicy, oaky. A hidden gem. I don't know why the rAvg is so low for this one. The grain is wonderful and well balanced by the light hops

Sour ale.
Hazy amber with thin off-white head, some laces.
Smell - oak, tart, funk
Taste - sour and queerly bitter in the finish.
Prickly carbonation, light body.
