The Winter Porter had great promise to start. The beer poured a darkl amber...almost Opaque with white head that laced. The smell had a nice earth/peat base with a bitter chocolate support. The taste is where the wheels came off...it was very acidic to start and the alcohol was certainly present....slight roast and espresso present as well. The mouthfeel was a medium body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was not the best porter....in my humble opinion.
