Craving something with bold hops and high ABV? Endpoint (E3) is your beer. Single hopped with tons of summit hops, this beer is a great example of how complex a single-hopped beer can be. Summit hops are extremely diverse containing flavors of grapefruit, pine, and sweet onion. Our brewers are careful to add the hops at specific times in the boil to bring out each unique flavor. What started as a challenge to make a “hop bomb” has turned into a hop-lover’s dream. Get this year-round beer on draft or in cans.

12 oz. can. Not dated, but it's brewed 5 blocks from my place.
A: Hazy, straw body when held up in the light. Gorgeous white head with plenty of retention and lacing.
S: Armpit full of hops, earthy, oranges, alcohol. The aroma is fantastic.
T: Summit hop flavors without being too bitter. Nice malt backbone at the end. The alcohol is noticeable.
M: Creamy, a little sticky. For such a high ABV, this one is really nice.
O: Solid local beer. Need to enjoy fresh.

Renegade E3, endpoint triple IPA
Straight outta Denver, we have here a triple IPA that clocks in at 11%. The can looks simply great, jet black with white bold writing and green highlight font.
A: Pours a frothy golden orange cream color that is completely opaque with a lively off white cream colored head.
S: Earthy citrus hops, there’s a slight funk here, like asparagus pee (you know what I mean).
T: Tastes almost exactly as it smells, it’s got that garlicy/ onion that Summit is known for – there is some citrus and pine sticky here, but it’s underwhelming and bleh.
M: Great mouth feel, smooth and full body, carbonation to carry and alcohol and IBU tang to keep it interesting. It’s the best part of the beer.
O: This is a damn shame because this beer is a great canvas for other hops to shine on, just not Summit for God’s sake! Simco and Citra would have been a knock out, but that smoked and onion earthiness is a bad jive. It’s by no means bad, it’s actually my favorite beer that I don’t like and I’m going to finish it. I love onion too, raw or roasted, just not in beer – and it’s even more disappointing because this could have been so great. 80
(it's growing on me as I drink it though)

Appearance - hazy darkish copper color, nice retention. Smell - fruity honestly, mild hop smell. Taste - actually doesn't follow the nose at all. I get a lot of hops and some malt on the back end. Very interesting. Overall - interesting beer, glad I just blindly snagged it while in CO. Would like to try on tap. Girlfriend has not tried but I bet she'll say it tastes like dirt.

Wow! So impressed with this winner from a local brewer. Reminds me of another local IIPA, Hercules, by Great Divide.
Pours a hazy, honey like color, with a nice finger of foam.
Nose is piney, hoppy.
First hit my tongue with a malty sweetness, followed immediately with nice, strong, but not overpowering, bitterness.
Hops through to the finish, but so well balanced with the malty sweetness. This is a superior IPA.
