Notes:
Alpha Galactic is a west coast pale ale with a blast of intergalactic flavors and aromas. A base of pilsner malt lays down a delicate foundation for the Australian Galaxy and American Warrior, Amarillo, & Simcoe varities. Dry hopping with Galaxy creates bright aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, and dank resin.

Bomber into a tulip appears pale yellow with a white cap that fades leaving stringy lace.
Aroma lemon and pine with slight herbal to cheesy citrus character.
Tastes straw grain, fresh cereal-like with lemon herbal citrus pith/pulp.
Light in body with modest carbonation. Easy drinking nice stuff.

22 oz bomber into a pint glass
Hazy, straw-yellow appearance, little-to-no head. Sharp, prickly-citrus nose, with notes of tangerine and honeyed buiscuits. Hop-forward flavors, with a West Coast profile, as orange rind and lemon-pepper press up against yeasty crackers and earthy tea. Light, bubbly complexion ushers in a crisp, refreshing finish.
Easy to throw back and tasty enough, but I was expecting more subtleties and depth from the hop-profile.

On tap at the source in LB. Pours a clear pale yellow under a 1" thick white head which fades slowly and yields splotchy lace. Aroma is tropical fruits (passion and mango) and floral. Flavors are lemony citrus and faintly dank. Light body and moderate carbonations. Finishes clean, crisp and slightly dry.

Admittedly, I've recently become a Beachwood BBQ fanboy since they started distributing fresh beer at K&L Liquor in Redwood City. Finally get some Nor-Cal love! IPA's don't get much better than their Amalgamator & Citraholic.
Onto Alpha Galactic...
Hate to say it, but this beer is "hollow." Feel is like a Soda water with a little more than a splash of orange juice and grainy.
Almost like a beer-mosa but the lemon orange citrus flavor truly is a watered down one. Exactly like when you add water to OJ or vice versa. I can see how some would like this one, but it was a miss for me. Bottled 3 weeks ago.
