650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep clear golden. Small white head. A little leggy. Chunky collar.

Smell - Grapefruit citrus hops. Tropical fruit. Sweet caramel malt.

Taste - A little more tropical. More orangey. Citrus. Sweet pale malts. A little astringent and boozy.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Boozy.

Overall - Tastes really good, but as with most 10% IPAs, just a bit too big for its own good.

perfect orchestra of medium-speed bubbles rising to the top. so nice and pretty. golden hue, nice opaque colored topping. never used this word before, but I understand it now- dank. tropical fruits, juicy. in the aroma and the taste. slight cat urine coming through, but typical of the hops. not in a bad way, of course. lingering bitterness at the end. and ten-stinkin'-percent! wow. does not taste anywhere near ten percent. this is really nice. tasty, lush, dank, tropical. and tasty. I am really impressed with this.

The guys at Beachwood BBQ LBC got this one right! Hurry they might have a few 22oz's left for the holiday. Its on tap and it might one of the best IPA's I have had all year. Its perfectly balanced to satisfy hop heads and newbies.
Pours golden and the first blast of hops is a perfect balance with the malt, and the finish has a tropical note that begs for another tug.
