Four Year Anniversary
An intergalactic blend of hops creates a stellar explosion of flavors and aromas. City, Mosaic, Comet, Galaxy, Millennium, & Equinox varieties send out a shock wave of tropical fruits, vectors of sticky resins, and pulses of citrus. Cheers!

Ok - so this is straight up a West Coast hop bomb like something that blew up in the New Mexico desert during the 40’s. I mean, wow! It’s explosive and perfectly bitter like my last ex who won’t get over Raul. (Yeah, baby, you know how I do it!). Anyway, just drop what you are doing (unless you are holding a baby or something) and get this beer!

Not sure what defines this beer other than being generally hoppy, very busy and confusing palate with moderately bitter lingering aftertaste, enjoyable but nothing special.

Bottle dated 2/20/17, poured into pint glass.
Look: Gold-ish orange. Minimal to no haze. Standard West Coast DIPA appearance.
Smell: Solid combo of pine and citrus.
Taste: Clearly an Imperial. Hard to describe, but just has that distinct aftertaste of a Double IPA. Hop presence is heavy, with more of the piney/danky notes coming forward with less of the citrus that presented itself in the initial smell.
Feel: Heavy, and certainly oily.
Overall: Not my favorite DIPA.

Poured from a 22-ounce bottle, dated 2/20/17, a clear pale orange under a 1/2" thick white head which fades to the rim and leaves semi-splotches of lace. Aroma is muted dankness. Flavor is resiny, sticky, citrus, tropical, and piney. Semi-full body and semi-moderate carbonation. Finishes boozy, herbal and bitter. Actually expecting much more from a 2 day old bottle. Have had on tap at the source and felt is was better than the bottle.
