ba bwine from an awesome brewery? i'm in!

looks great in the glass!

nose is great, dark fruit and malts. barrel comes through nicely

strong barrel on the taste. really juicy but mouthfeel takes away from the taste. a bit of astringency

mouthfeel, thin body takes away from the depth of this brew.

overall i'm glad i tried this brew. big thanks to 3sh33ts for sending it up. i wish there was a bigger body to this guy. i can say tho, this goes excellent with food. fantastic with food!!

A - Nice burgundy color and clarity, thin lacing, nice legs on the glass.

S - Not overpowering in the aroma, toasted toffee, bourbon, vanilla, and light oak. Massive legs as the glass is swirled.

T - Sweet toasted toffee, vanilla, oak, and a very forward bourbon presence. Lingering vanilla and toffee sweetness

M - Full body that leans towards the lighter side, lingering vanilla toffee sweetness.

O - A very nice barrel aged barley but time would definitely serve this beer well given that it was bottled only a few months ago.

A: Rich, caramel-like aroma, coupled with a light bready, toffee like quality and moderately strong bourbon finish.

A: Deep brown color, slightly hazy with a very light almost nonexistent head that quickly dissipates into a ring along the edges of the glass, no lacing.

T: Complex flavors, with rich caramel, almost brown sugar like sweetness, followed by a moderately strong bourbon flavor on the finish. There is a light alcohol flavor, but is not harsh.

M: Full bodied with moderately light carbonation. Super smooth with a lusciously smooth texture.

O: Awesome! The beer has an excellent rich caramel, brown sugar like aroma and flavor that is well complimented by the Kentucky bourbon barrel – quite delicious!
