12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip
A: Pours a golden amber with a white head, decent amount of lacing, beer is clear, looks under carbonated.
A: Subtle grapefruit notes, guava, peach skins, herbal, earthy grassiness, also picking up a very syrup malt aroma at the end.
T: Hit of grapefruit up front, lemon zest, slight guava, herbal grassiness, moderate amount of citrus zest bitterness, grapefruit lingers in the aftertaste.
M: Medium/light bodied with a good amount of carbonation and a dry finish.
O: Not as aromatic as I hoped but I like the addition of grapefruit to this one as it tones the bitterness of the regular Invasive IPA, a solid beer.
