Pours a clear orange color with a white head. A very nice aroma, plenty of citrus peel, oranges, a hint of tangerine, and pine. Very little rye, maybe some bread. Tons of citrus, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine. Light rye flavor, some bready malt sweetness. Dry and bitter on the finish.

On tap at Beachwood Long Beach.

A: Golden orange with a creamy white cap. Good clarity and nice color. Great retention with scattered sheets of lacing.

S: Peach, watermelon, nectarine, and orange with floral character. As the beer warms up it gives off papaya, pineapple, and passion fruit with some lightly sweet malt.

T: Watermelon right off the bat with juicy fruit, orange, papaya, tangerine, and grapefruit. A unique hop profile and more pungent than other single hop beers I've had that used 342. Malt imparts a pleasant but restrained sweetness. Drying citrus rind finish.

M: Lower medium body with upper medium carbonation,

Overall: This is probably the best hop experience I've had with 342. Really nice.

On-tap at Beachwood I,

A: Pours a clear amber with a soft white head, leaving lots of thick lace.

S: Nice nose, citrus and melon, some mango, and rye spice.

T: Light malt flavour with a lot of hops. Definite sweet pineapple, tropical fruit. This beer tastes sweet from the hops, but it really isn't, the finish is very dry.

M: Dry, medium-bodied, crisp carbonation, prickly.

O: A very solid IPA, with an outright unique intriguing flavour from the new hop. A nice complexity overall, quite cool.
