Layers of Warrior, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Citra skillfully mow their way through a base of American 2-row malt. A kiss of Canadian honey malt accentuates the tropical and tangerine flavors & aromas from the powerful Amarillo/Citra dry hop charge.

Absolutely great tasting west coast ipa. All the dank bitterness and citrus on the palate. As far as I’m concerned, Beachwood can do no wrong. Another great IPA in their arsenal

Picked this up while visiting my son in Arizona. The is a well done WC. The hop aroma is pleasant. The combination of Mosaic and Amarillo was well done and suits my taste preference. My only critique is that I enjoyed it so much I drank it a little too fast and am wishing I had more.

This is a really good WCIPA. It is a bit difficult to find here in AZ, but I managed to do it. Poured from a 16oz can that was about 1 month old. Lots of hops, but not too bitter. Crisp finish.

Clear yellow amber brew with plenty of foam in the Saint-Martins glass. Fruity aroma with a whiff of pineapple. Tangy mouthfeel with a dark woody finish. Flavors of lemon, alfalfa, green tea, and resins. Quite a bitter aftertaste. Interesting hoppy brew that rewards sipping. But I gave up before I finished it. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 01/08/23.

This one is kind of the anti Kim K in my opinion - name sucks and the label artwork is ugly as hell. That said, what’s in the inside is beautiful. No nepotism, and no ugly hag. It’s good. Like, I’d wash my feet with it - it’s that pure. I wouldn’t even let a Kardashian into the bounce house… but Hop Jitsu can stay for cake.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with minimal head, but some decent lacing. Initial aroma is almost a bit smokey, mixed with some bitter pine. It drinks smooth, with a very dry, pineapple finish. The mouthfeel's probably a bit heavier than you'd guess given pretty moderate carbonation.

Appearance: Arrives with an amber color and capped nicely by a couple of inches of foam; plenty of lacing action
Smell: Tangerine and mango tones waft, with grapefruit, as well
Taste: CItrusy from the outset, with tangerine, grapefruit and mango flavors building; slight amount of piney bitterness, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium body, somewhat creamy, with moderate carbonation
Overall: One of the best among some great IPAs I tasted at the brewpub

On-tap at Beachwood BBQ, on to the beer:
This is a light orange colored beer, topped with good cream and solid lacing. The aroma is full of tangerine madness, and the fun does not let up there. A flavorful beer as well, as not only does it bring tangerine, but pine, orange, and a dry crackery case. It's medium bodied, not too bitter, which makes Hop Jitsu just another jewel in the crown of Beachwood beers.
