No canned on date, but recent 2018 release

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and bright gold in color with an off-white, quarter finger's width head.

Smell - Candied orange and grapefruit. Lesser pineapple and some faint 'white bread' sweetness.

Taste - Plenty of sweet, candied orange upfront with some lesser grapefruit and pine dankness. Malts come through with generic white bread flavor. The finish imparts a hint of booze, but not much else.

Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Slick texture at first quickly turns dry with a hint of stickiness as it rounds into the finish. Smooth for 11.5%, which leaves a slight warmth in the stomach.

Overall - Solid triple IPA for sure, but it's a bit simple when it comes to the flavor development. I'd drink this again, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a finger of white fluffy head. The aroma is big citrus, oranges and grape fruit. The flavor follows the nose with oranges, grape fruit and a little Mellon with a big piney resinous bitter finish.....great triple ipa heretic

Bomber picked up at the COOP.. Pours clearish golden with a long lasting sudsy white head, great lacing. Tons of tropical fruits with background pithy hoppiness.. Not as sweet as the ABV or the Triple IPA moniker leads to believe.. Big ole So Cal DIPA... I'd buy this again for sure.

Candied citrus rind gives way to grapefruit pith bitterness. Medium bodied. Never feels too sweet. The finish is on the drier side. Alcohol warms the chest but you don't taste it. Really solidly made triple IPA.

Small head that reduces to rim bubbles. Only a few spots for lace and these quickly disappear. The liquid is yellow gold. Clear.

Hoppy in a weedy sort of way. No notable alcohol.

Strong hop with the warming effects of the alcohol but without oiliness. Richer body than expected with a below average level of effervescence. Long aftertaste of alcohol and straight up bitterness. Overall, this is far more nondescript than I expected.

Had this on draft at Martins West in Redwood Park, CA. I've never had Pliny the Younger, but I'm guessing the whole "triple IPA" label here, as well as the timing of the release, is not a coincidence. Whatever, they nailed it. This is big malt, big citrus hops, and fantastic flavor. 11.5% alcohol? I couldn't taste it, but after two of these it was bedtime. Best beer I've ever had with IPA in the name.

On-tap served in a snifter at Hair of the Dog, Bangkok.

Mildly hazed orange amber color, it comes with thick frothy white head that well retains itself with good retention before slowly subsiding to a long-lasting bubble sheet atop and leaving sticky lacing wave all along the glass-side.

Loads of piney and fruity hop in the aroma, it comprises of pine, resin, tropical, grapefruit, passion fruit, grass, and lots of pepper and spice. Malt is also there with its bread, some caramel, and candy like an orange candy (combined with hop).

The taste is straightforward for DIPA with hop intensity ravaging with its piney resin, tropical, grapefruit, passion fruit, grass, pepper, spice, and solid bitterness. Malt is not completely sunken underneath the hoppy goodness by providing its bread, some caramel, and some candy sweetness. The end and aftertaste is wrapped up and lasting with intense bitterness and subtle residual sweetness.

Full and bold body but not sticky or too hefty with smooth mouthfeel from its moderate crisp to quite lively carbonation, finish is pleasantly dry.

Not that too heavy or overly bitter despite being boast as Triple IPA, it is easy to drink and tasty as alcohol is pretty well hidden.
