Hazy New England-style IPA. This is all about bringing the juice back to American beer. It isn’t about big football commercials and fancy packaging. It is about the liquid in the can. We spent our money (which is your money if you think about it) on an insane amount of the best hops available, so the can ain’t fancy, but the beer certainly is. Hazy, luscious, and full of juicy hops. This beer is brewed with no bittering hop addition, just whirlpool and insane amounts of dry-hopping. That results in a gentle bittering and a huge, juicy hop profile. Vote Juicy!

It smells good, a first impression upon cracking open a pint can. It doesn't look too badly, poured into a clear glass liter mug. Big plus, there's no stark white foam to contend with, just a pleasant off-white head. It has the color of unfiltered lemonade, maybe a little denser. Opaque, but it's still bright and not at all murky. The label is misleading, but in a good way. There's really no actual fruitiness here. Expecting a fruit infused IPA will only disappoint, but why would a lover of real IPAs want a beer that tastes like fruit? The concept of fruity as a description for hoppy can work and it certainly works here. The aroma may have some citrus-like qualities, but that's as close as it gets. This is light, but supple across the palate. A good mouthfeel for what it delivers. The taste is moderately hoppy, citrus-like might best describe it, but not close to being astringent. It's almost perfect in the level of hops it brings and the medium it does so. Also ideal, is the ABV, almost unnoticed, yet another nice taste inclusion. There's much more to this than a clever name.

Can from Brewers Haven.Hazy straw color with active, billowing head. Light, citrusy, hoppy aroma. Juicy taste, as is all the rage thee days. Still good, but the style is becoming ubiquitous. Crushable.? Yes.

Meh.... off flavors galore and tastes like something a macro brewery would put out as their excuse for a new england IPA.

Pours a dense faded orange, heavy head and lacing and some debris. Upon the tongue, very silky feel, creamy, but the taste slightly underwhelming. Easy drinking, but one note.,I get creamsicle with a pinch of lemon. Finishes as it starts, nice feel, but no complexity. Overall, very drinkable, but not noteworthy.

i have really come to love heretic, but still feel like i havent had all that many of their beers. this is a great hazy ipa here, one of their best hoppy beers i have had. its very yellow in color, almost oddly pale, not super dense, soft and pillowy looking from the tap, a short but lasting half inch of white head on it, good carbonation, and immediately looking brighter and more refined than the average for the style, sunny and inviting. the nose is great, maybe citra forward, it has that almost delicate nature even though the hops are bold and fresh, if that makes sense, sweet orange, lemon curd, lemongrass, very summery and sexy, not a whole lot from the grain, and just a little bit of crackery yeast character to me, keeping it dynamic. very juicy indeed, well named. definitely citra forward in the flavor too, but i get some fresh flowers too, elderflower maybe, and a little green apple crispness. no oiliness to the hops for how robust they are, some melon in there, a clean dry finish too, no bitterness at all, and very little from the grain, more a textural contribution than a flavor one, which is fine for a juicy hazy like this. an excellent example of the style i think, familiar in some ways but better than most, i like the little bit of yeast character, and overall this is another really solid brew from these guys. fresh as can be and nicely refined. one to seek out.

If beer is politics then the reigning incumbent hails form the Hazy party. Heretic is here to keep that incumbent in power with a juicier, hazier ale that's low in bitterness and bold in hop flavor. We're not likely to see any bitter challenger in power any time soon.
Hazy orange and caught in a pastel austere, the heady Make America Juicy Again abounds with a strong citronella perfume that hosts a collection of citrus, topical, herbal and spicy fragrances. But the early sips say something different. A sweeter tone greets the tongue with a firm suggestive taste of cereal, starch, honey and shortcake.
But the rise of fruity hop impressions allow the middle palate to shine with tangerine, lime, mango, passionfruit and pineapple character. Bold, juicy and creamy hints of vanilla, the beer leans toward creamsicle character but with a snappy bitterness of orange peel, tea, hemp and verbena.
Medium bodied and finishing malty-dry, the juicy ale has a final cantaloupe juiciness to follow a slightly pithy orange bite for a refreshing, inviting and flavorful session. With beers like these in command, its not a question of how to make American juicy again, its about how to keep America juicy. -a task that doesn't seem to be in danger anytime soon.
