Can from Boise Co-op. Milky yellow pour, foamy head fades to flat. Fruity, tropical aroma, taste too in line with the NEIPA style. Tasty, but nothing special.

Thanks to Kraus for this one. 16oz can (no date) poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a fully murky medium orange color with just 1/4 inch of white head that had moderate retention and very light lacing.
The aroma was the expected frooty hops of the style, along the equally expected lack of malt or grain presence.
Pretty much the same on the tongue; no earthiness, some joosieness, and a slight bit of hop bitterness.
The body was lighter than is typical for this style, smooth, and carried good carb throughout.
Drinkability was fine, but it wouldn't be a beer I'd seek out to have again.
Overall, a fairly average example of the style.

Holy mango Batman; this 16oz canned in late August pours a hazy gold with a huge fluffy head and decent lacing; the nose and palate are like 110% mango purée; minimal bitterness, and very juicy. There are impressions of pale crackery malt, orange and citrus fruit juice, and passion fruit, but this is a huge mango bomb, and I loved it.

Poured from a can into a pint glass.
L: Sorry, but this doesn't really look like too much of an NE IPA. It's a very light yellow color. There is some haze, but I could see through it. To me, an NE IPA should be completely opaque. There was a small white head that dissipated pretty quickly.
S: Definitely heavy on the mango on the nose. There is some grassy notes I'm detecting, as well. It is fairly one-dimensional, but not necessarily unpleasant.
T: Very heavy on the mango as well, but it's a natural mango taste. It's like actually biting into a mango. You get the depth that you don't get with an artificial flavoring. The hops are very muted, and you just get a bit of citrus at the end. Very little malt or grain. Again, pretty one dimensional...very similar to carbonated mango juice, but there are some other notes.
F: Very smooth. Minimal carbonation, pretty heavy considering the ABV. This feels like it could be in the 8-9% range, but it's quite pleasant.
O: Not a bad beer, but there are better NE IPAs out there, in my opinion. There are much worse ones out there, too. This is pretty solidly in the middle for me. I wouldn't necessarily seek this out, but I would drink again if I had the opportunity.

Pours a lovely straw haze with a great head. The smell is great... fruit IPAs always have awesome aroma and this one is no exception. Mango+hops mix amazingly well. The flavor, to be honest, doesn't hold up as awesome as the aroma did for me. You get alot of mango up front, and some but not too strong hops, which transitions back into the fruitiness. It's also quite a bit smoother, more mellow, "milky" than I expected.
