A true German Helles style lager recipe combined with European and US hop varietals make this beer crisp and refreshing. Clean American bittering hops along with a few late additions of German Czech Saaz hops provide pleasant hop aroma and put a NW spin on this traditional style. It is a light and drinkable beer with a clear golden straw color.

Exceptionally well balanced.

Hop - Malt - Mouthfeel all come together at an ideal point to produce a great drinking lager.

The brew has a slight haziness.

The can art is quite tasteful.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Bread and grass in the aroma. Light, malty taste with balancing pleasant bitterness. A good, refreshing beer.

A mostly clear yellow color with a quickly dissipating white head.
Aroma of bread and flowers.
Taste of toasted bread, followed by hops.
Light bitterness, drinks easily.

Look: Clear medium yellow with a quick-forming head that rapidly settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Floral hops, soda crackers, pilsner malt, and a light sweetness
Taste: Liquid crackers and bread, along with a nice floral bouquet kick it off and develop nicely. A mild honey-like sweetness follows and joins in before flowers and crackers regain strength and close it out
Mouthfeel: Light but full, very clean and crisp throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a crisp, clean finish with minimal felt dryness
Overall: This is delicious. This is a really nice Helles and I can’t believe I passed on it a couple of times before finally trying it as it is tasty and quite impressive – a great American interpretation of one. Particularly hitting the spot after the second straight day of record-breaking 110+ degree heat here in the Pacific Northwest as well
