Pine and creamy citrus notes dominate the nose and combine well with subtle tropical/peach notes. A light bodied mouthfeel and playful bitterness allow bright citrus flavors to shine through. A slight back end bitterness reminds you that this is a classic NW style IPA.

Pours orange/amber with off-white foamy head, lots of lacing on the glass (snifter). Hop aroma of oranges, pine resin. Taste is sharp and tart, hops up front, malt on the finish. Smooth with a little edge.

Six pack of cans purchased at QFC in Bothell, Washington.
AUG 14 19. Poured in to a high ball glass because all my pint glasses were in the dish washer..
Look- Slightly hazy golden amber color, nice dense off-white head with great retention, spotty lacing. heavy carbonation streams as it sits.
Smell- Stone fruit (peach/nectarine, light cherry even), tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), melon, light citrus, some bubblegum and berries, caramel type malts, very light pine.
Taste- Follows the nose, really well balanced. hops and malts are in harmony here. Pretty juicy actually.
Feel- Medium bodied, semi dry, light bitterness, slightly sticky. Pretty crisp and good carbonation on the tongue.
O- I was expecting a old school IPA bitter bomb and was pleasantly surprised. Third offering I've had from these guys and it's great. Shocked this brewery doesn't get more recognition.

Hazy gold with a moderate haze, moderate carbonation and 2 fingers of off white head.
Smells of caramel, citrus and pineapple.
Tastes of pine, caramel, and hint of citrus.
Medium body with moderate carbonation.
I got this in Medford, OR today and am drinking it on Aug 27, 2019. One of those perfect IPAs that takes a flawless middle ground.

Canned on 5/30/19
Pours a cloudy honey orange hue topped with multiple fingers of soapy white foam; great retention leaves thick, soapy lacing smattering the walls of the glass along with a dense, frothy collar and spotty cap.
Aromas of bright grapefruit meshing with melon and guava cleanly from the outset; pine and fresh woody aromatics contribute an intriguing yet easygoing depth.
Taste shows grapefruit juice on a pine backbone; hints of cantaloupe, peach, and pithy orange highlight a citrus depth; clean floral malt and piney bitterness on the swallow.
Mouthfeel presents a light-medium body with a balanced, slightly effervescent carbonation; mild oily texture fades effortlessly to a creamy, clean mid-palate while a faint bitterness lingers through the finish.
For an IPA highlighting its balance of diverse flavors and a structure that begs quaffability, this one stands out for its subtleties; woody, malty, floral, fruity all harmonize to the tune of an IPA I could return to consistently.

a fresh, flavorful, and well balanced ipa that really is a pretty classic example of the style. light on the grain in terms of sweetness and structure, but there is a nice earthy cereal malt taste to support the intense hops. the hops have a nice dry hopped aroma and also a pretty punchy bitterness, notes of lemon, grapefruit zest, and spruce to me, a juniper and gin botanical vibe too, kind of a wintery profile, less of the tropical fruit juiciness that has become popular in the style, but i dont miss that at all, and appreciate the sort of classically styled nature of this one. there is an oily aspect to the hops that really makes it linger after each sip, and there is a very slow fade on this. warms up well without too much crystal malt in the mix, and this is a hearty and satisfying brew for really any time. good carbonation, medium body, good strength for the style, and available in cans just about anywhere around town. i havent had a ton of beer from these guys yet, but i have liked them all so far! this is a fresh, piney, and bitter instant classic for me.

Appearance: Pours a darker, slightly clouded, orange color with a copper hue. a Moderate head that is heavy and sticks around. (4.0)
Aroma: Strong aromas of tropical fruit. I get pineapple, mango, mandarin orange, with some sweet peach. I like the peach notes. (4.0)
Taste: Flavors follow the nose with tropical ripe pineapple, orange, sweet peach. A slight bitterness, but not too much pine. A crystal malt profile that finishes sort of milky and sweeter than I expected. (3.75 = Average)
Feel: Medium bodied and creamy. On a blind taste test I might think it was an oat-hopped NEIPA based on the body and lack of bitterness. Finishes slightly sweet from the crystal malts. (4.0)
Overall (4): So this is the NW style I suppose. Not sure exactly what the NW style is, but from my understanding I would describe the NW style as having the west-coast "C" hop flavors of citrus, grapefruit, and pine, but having a crystal malt balance to it. This doesn't have as much citrus and leans more tropical than I expected but has the nice crystal malt sweetness and I like the peach notes. It's all around a great IPA. I wouldn't seek it out, but definitely better than your average IPA, and I would order if it I saw it again. (Final Rating 3.9)
