By far the best bar in Coventry (probably best in the Midlands), recently listed as the 28th best bar in the UK in the Independent.

The bar is set in a 13th century church spire, which makes it spectacular but cosy. They have an enormous selection of bottled beer (there's no room for casks or pumps unfortunately), and enthusiastic staff who are friendly and know what they are selling.

You'll pay a bit more than you would for a pint of British Ale elsewhere, but given the quality and selection of beer available it seems fairly priced to me.

Large out door seating area at the front gives the bar the feel of a Belgian street bar. Regular live music and eclectic DJing give it a great atmosphere.

Worth a special trip just for the selection of beer available.
