**I don't like bitter hoppy beer. This rating is for people like me.
Very hoppy bitter on the sides on my tongue. Body is very nice and what I would want for an IPA, but I just am not a fan of this type of bitter IPA.
If you are a fan of bitter ipas, give it a shot

Poured from tap into a plastic cup, nice 1/2 finger head minimal retention and lacing (could be due to the cup). Smells of caramel malt, citrus and a little pine resin thrown in. Taste pretty much the same. Nice bitterness, and really good mouth feel. A good serviceable IPA that you can have several of throughout the night without jacking up your palate.

Pours a hazy copper color with a small foamy head. Head retention is mild, as is lacing. There is some citrus maltiness with a mild hoppy resin in the aroma. Somewhat malty taste with some citrus undertones and big piney hop at the end. Medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation. Decent beer

I get no nose on this. All malty sweetness. That said, it doesn't taste bad. definitely cascade hops.

Got this one on tap while visiting the Nimitz museum across the street, which is worth the trip from Austin. It's a light orange color with a quarter inch off white head. Smells of citrus, and tastes moderately of citrus with a strong bitter aftertaste. As it warms up, the citus component backs off a bit and the flavor wasn't as intense as it was from the start. Good, but not great complexity, but a solid IPA. As IPAs go, this is worth trying if you're in the area.

A - Pours up an amber/red with ruby highlights. The dense off white head dissipates into a small cap on top of the beer.
S - Hops dominate, but the malt sweetness backs them up nicely.
T - The hops are present from the beginning. The sweet malt flavor is quickly overwhelmed with hop bitterness. Is it cascade?
M - Full mouthfeel with good carbonation. Not thin at all.
D - I'm not a hop head, but I don appreciate a nice IPA every now and again. And this is one of my favorites.

Had this fine brew on tap last week. Very nice looking beer. good head and head retention. Smell was a bit understated but a nice hop presence was noted. Very nice tasting beer. Good hop kikc but not biting. Balance is the word for this IPA and the brewer should be commended for it. This was first beer at this rocking lillt brew pub and a very good start to a great evening.

Appearance: Hazy deep copper color, with a moderate white head, thick broken lacing, and slight carbonation.
Aroma: Strong pine tar hop note, with lesser caramel malts beneath.
Taste: Opens with strong pine tar hop notes, with a sturdy backbone of caramel malt beneath, both of these carry the taste from start to finish. A lingering grapefruit and pinf hop note bring the taste to a close.
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, quite full, with little carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A quite well-made example, perhaps a touch overhopped, but quite good, nonetheless.

Appearance - A little hazy, and pretty much copper in color. Good head and lace.
Smell - Sort of a combination of pungent and floral hops dominate, with malt for balance. Appealing.
Taste - The flavors of the beer is strongly hoppy. Simcoe, Chinook, and Cascade are among the hop varieties used. Not really a hop bomb, but hopheads ought to enjoy it.
Mouthfeel - Good. Nothing outstanding, but certainly not wrong for the style.
Drinkability - Overall, this is a decent drinker. The bitterness is a little rough, and could be balanced a little better (possible with more dry hopping and a slightly lower IBU rating).
Comments - Worth a try. Actually, be sure to pick this one over their pilsner.
