I am not a fan of bitter hop taste**
There is the grain of salt. Keep that mind with this review.
This has this and the bitterness lingers on the tongue. Too it's credit, if you like it, it's a HOP bitterness not a pithe or rind bitterness. But like I said, not my cup of tea. I can appreciate that this is definitely one of decently brewed beers here. Some have been brewed poorly, but this is not one of those.
Respectfully, I good beer if you like hop bitterness, I just do not :]

Fredericksburg Brewing Co. "Peacepipe Pale Ale"
on tap at the pub on 3 November 2015
listed at 5.8% ABV with 34 IBUs
Notes: Clear light-amber body with golden highlights beneath a creamy head of white. Aroma expresses gently sweet, mildly caramelish and grainy malt threaded through with softly citrusy, floral, and earthy hops. Flavor follows, as expected. Some orange-candy-like citrus mixes with the sharper (but still limited) grapefruit, softening it. Nicely balanced and smooth.

Too thin and watery for me. I think the hops dissipate way too quickly on the tongue. It smells decent but it pretty disappointing. Texas, our Texas! All hail the mighty State! Boldest and grandest, Withstanding ev'ry test; O Empire wide and glorious, You stand supremely blest.
