Appearance: Bronze color, good head & lacing.

Smell: Mild citrus aroma.

Taste: For a "mild", lots of hops. Some toasted bread flavors, but mostly mild grapefruit followed by a tea-like and earthy finish.

Drinkability: Could have a few in a sitting.

My trip to Chicago came up empty for Gumballhead, so I picked up some of 3F's other session beer. Definitely more of a pale ale than a mild, it's pretty tasty stuff and worth a try.

Orangish hue with about a finger of head. Some sticky lacing. There is a subtle sweetness in the aroma, with some grassy hops and just a hint of citrus. Pretty well balanced flavor, the hops stand out just a bit in the finish. Medium bodied, well carbonated. This would make a pretty good session beer if it was available to me all the time.

Purchased at City Limits in Providence, RI. Good people they are at City Limits.

Ok its my b-day, I'm driking a lot of good brews and listening to Cake. I'm dancing at the foot of the Lord and all is bliss....all is bliss.

Nice sticky head atop this amber sea of hoppiness. Mild yes. Hoppy yes. I can't righly say if it's too hoppy or just right in the mild department. Definitley hoppy characteristics up front. Lip smacking hops as a matter of fact. Sweet with matching hop bitterness. A nice little brew from Indiana. This is quite drinkable a nice beer to have about the house for any old situation.

A- body is a light mild rusty orange color with minimum fogginess. Pours with a thick 3 finger foamy off-white head that slowly dwindles to 1/2 finger with great retention. Plenty of lacing is left behind in the glass.

S- As soon as I opened the bottle a wonderful aroma of piny and citrus hops hit my nose. Cool, clean, and refreshing.

T- FFF wasn't kidding about this being a mild ale. Mild citrus hop flavor upfront with a very subtle, sweet biscuty malt backbone. Piny hops come through a little more for the finish-but are still rather subtle. A soft, mild bitterness lingers long after the swallow.

M-Medium to high carbonation and very light body.

D-Though all the excitement of this one is in the nose this is a nice, drinkable ale. It is quite mild which makes it much easier to drink or even session. I'll pick up this one again-if I ever find FFF again.

Poured from a bottle into a sam adams perfect pint glass

Appearance: Burnt orange color with 1.5 fingers of nice offwhite head, dissipates a little quick.

Smell: Nice fragrance, citrusy with apricot and toffee. Also has some good hopiness to offset the fruit notes.

Taste: Nice and crisp, just enough hops and yet it isn't overpowering. Toffee and Citrus fruit that correspond with the fragrance.

Mouthfeel: Plenty of carbonation but it dissipates quickly on the tongue. It doesn't linger around the palate which makes it very drinkable.

Overall: Good session brew, i like the pale ale characteristics along with the fruitiness. Great on mild spring or summer evenings.
