Bottled summer 2014; drank 8/5/14 @ the Palace.
Brown/black hue.
Dark tan head; minimal lace.
Brown sugar, cinnamon, rum & chocolate nose. Nice!
Thick mouthfeel.
Cinnamon, mild tartness. Brown sugar as it warms. Unique, interesting but not quite great.

I think I took a drink and almost immediately shat my pants. God awful. Nothing else to say.

Black color with mocha head. Aroma is spicy and tart, like Haribo cola gummies. Taste starts really astringent with dried fruits, cola, cinnamon. Medium body, really dry and acidic, medium carbonation. It clearly isn't what it was supposed to be but it's not really that bad. If you expect a barrel aged imperial porter, it's not, but it's a quite decent sour dark ale.

Tasted at The Bruery taproom from bottle. Since it was served there I assume it was a collaboration brew with them. Unique spicy and herbal aroma is inviting. Flavors are also unique but not really to my liking. Tastes like somebody poured a double shot of Jagermeister into a decent porter. Not an improvement in my mind.
