This was a bomber and poured into a pint glass

A: 4.5 light brown with a hint of red light head
S:  5.0 the nose of this beer is mostly pine with a little malt, the hops they used in the secondary give this beer an amazing aroma
T: 4.5 the taste is overwhelmingly hops. I can only imagine how much hops they used in their primary fermentation
MF: 4.5 very full body with an average amount of carbonation.
O: 4.5 this is a great beer but I don't think that I could have too many at one sitting. It is kind of a pallet wrecker

Pours clear light copper with medium head. Mega pine aroma with some nice citrus grapefruit. Wow. Flavor is pine and grapefruit with a nice malt balance, excellent sweetness paired with the hops, and this one comes off very juicy. Slick mouthfeel with lingering hops. Awesome. Rated near the top for good reason. Thanks to Ryan for the trade. Been seeking this out for a while, and my first Three Floyds brew.

Thanks to maximumu13 for this one. Reviewed from notes. Poured from bomber into a CCB pint glass.

A: Pours a slightly hazy, light gold with good visible carbonation and a big, three-finger craggy white head.

S: Pine, grass, resin, onion/spice hops, with a backbone of malt sweetness.

T: Bigger on the resin & onion/spice hops, and the bitterness from these is most noticeable on the front of the tongue. The flavor is more malty than expected, and comes across as a caramel flavor, but this doesn't add much sweetness to the overall impression.

M: A bit of a chewy mouthfeel, and somewhat heavier bodied than most IIPAs. Good carbonation sensation, and only a hint of alcohol.

O: This is far from a bad beer, but I'm just not a fan of the hop profile. The malts could have added more sweetness to make it a less bitter, more balanced IIPA. And I'm still not a fan of caramel malts in IPAs. That said, I would drink another if offered.

Bomber in to toulip pint

A - hazey copper; good carbonation; nice, off-white bubbly head; lacing retention looks solid

S - real citrusy; oranges, grapefruit; slightly sweet; really hop heavy

T - damn, really good; piney; grapefruit; a little hop-bitter; some notes of peach, maybe melon; sweet and subtle malt towards the back end

M - the heavy hops make this a pretty dry punch; this is a pretty smooth double, although the booze is there; it's real delicious just sitting on the tongue

O - this is a really well-balanced, nuanced DIPA with a lot of great hop flavor and a noticeable sweet-malt finish; the 9.5 is noticeable although not at all negatively; great beer
