Thanks to adamb0719 for this bottle! Of course no freshness info from FFF. Enjoyed on 08/26/11.

A - Pours a very dark black with some dark brown around the very edge. A small brown head forms and recedes quickly but can be provoked again with a whirl of the glass. Leaves no lacing.

S - Dark fruits, coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts, sweet lactose sugar and some milk chocolate as well. A little more bitter than I was expecting.

T - Rich dark chocolate and some dark fruits are present first. Cherries, plums, figs. Toward the back end, the lactose sugar comes through along with some milk chocolate. Finishes with some roasted malt flavor and some coffee as well.

M - Mouthfeel is very good. Medium bodied with pretty high carbonation. Where it should be for a milk stout.

O - Overall, this is an excellent milk stout. Not quite as good as Moo Hoo but I really enjoyed this one.

Pour - ultra-violent jet black with a thin coffee colored head that slowly fades to the sounds of Ludwig Van.

Aroma - espresso with raw sugar, melted vanilla ice cream, burnt coffee grounds, bitter chocolate, Kahlua and molasses.

Taste - big roasted malt presence. Lots of sweet maltiness with some nice coffee undertones and a creamy mouthfeel. The flavor of burnt sugar and dark chocolate is present in each sip and the aftertaste is sort of vanilla-ey. Lots of flavors that all come together real "horrorshow" and provide "a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts"

Overall - creamy, sweet, malty and delicious. All the flavors I anticipated were there. "Viddy well, viddy well".

Would I buy more of it? - absolutely. This is a great stout. I want the shirt to commemorate my experience!

A- Jet black with a decent mocha head on it. Has a good presentation.

S-light chocolate and roast on the nose. good smell, just mild.

T- Very creamy coffee and chocolate flavors. This is an awesome blend of flavors, everything has its purppose without out/over doing it.

M- Very creamy like a cask beer. This beer shines in this area, truly awesome soft mouth feel.

O- Love this beer, wish i could drink it more.

650ml bottle poured into a Gulden Draak tulip glass.

Appearance- Motor oil black with mocha head that sits about a half fingers worth on the surface. Decent lacing.

Smell. Wow mouth watering. Roasty malt, coffee grounds, and oatmeal.

Taste- Oatmeal, coffee, chocolate and some bitter hops that give a perfect stout balance.

Mouthfeel- So silky and smooth like drinking an ice coffee with a chocolate milk mouthfeel.

Overall- This is world class. Definitely my favorite milk stout. The burnt coffee, chocolate, oatmeal and bitter hops work so well then add in the silky mouthfeel and it's so damn drinkable. I'm already a bit sad that this is only a seasonal and the place I bought it only had this one.

Dark colored black beer with a small tan head. Nose of chocolate, roast, sugar and mocha, complex. As with almost all 3 Floyds beers, they nailed it. Was expecting a hoppy, out of balance beer, but it's a complex, well balanced beer with lots of malt depth. Creamy, with dessert-like malts. Very nice ale.
