A - Thick, solid black body. Almost no highlights. Dark khaki merle head with low retention and lace.

S - Soy umami, malted milk balls, caramel, milk chocolate, toast.

T - Hot chocolate froth, cream, oatmeal, condensed milk, earthy umami.

M - Creamy and thick body, but surprisingly light on the palate. Nice carbonation.

O - A great example of a milk stout; one of the best I've had.

Serving Type - 22oz bottle

Appearance - Dark black with a 2 inch foamy, thick creamy head, tons of lacing.

Smell - Roasty malts, chocolate, lactose, some smoke along with molasses, brown sugar and even some honey.

Taste - Starts out with chocolate notes, along with some coffee, and roasted malts. Lactose adds that standard sweet sugary note. Honey and some molasses along with a nice amount of smokiness. Some minor amounts of dark fruits comes out at the finish.

Mouthfeel - Chocolate, malts and sugars coat the tongue. Palate gets really more of the same, along with some fruits at the finish. After taste is sweet along with chocolate and coffee notes.

Overall - Really nice, balanced and not sickening sweet like most milk stouts. Has a really nice addition of smokey malts that sets it apart from the others. Nice easy drinker, glad ive got to try.

This pours a coffee black in color with a velvety consistency and a cocoa-creamy head.

There’s a roasty note under the lactic-tartness, with a full milk-chocolate character. I get an amped up lactic tartness atop a milk chocolaty sweetness. This is an intense and sweet milk stout, one for sipping and sharing.
