Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love.

Poured into a Pilsner glass (all I have on hand) from a bomber bought at The Keg in Clarksville IN for $9.99. Bottled date stamped 9/28/16.

A: Golden orange. Two finger head, lots of lacing. Settles into a nice foam floater.
S: Light citrus, pineapple, earthy, hint of grass. Not overpowering, floral and balanced.
T: I'm no expert, but here it goes: pineapple, tangerine, some passion fruit and peach, then a hint of grass, a bit of some spice I can't quite put my finger on, then some malt caramel and bready taste, a bit sweet but doesn't take away from the fruit hit. No acidity like some IPA's. So balanced, tastes are subtle on each other, nothing overpowers.
F: Light, creamy for an IPA. Decent carbonation. Light oil followed by a clean mouth. Light dryness. Very nice.
O: Complex, balanced, so many IPA's now smack you in the head and this is not one of them, it is almost delicate in the balance and taste. A great overall offering, not sure if worth the bomber price a second time around but I would for sure hit a couple of these on tap. I recommend picking up one of these.

A hazy gold beer with a foamy off white head that leaves lacing everywhere. Smells like oranges, flowers and pine. The taste is pleasantly sweet, floral and has a lot of orange and pine. This is a really tasty beer.
