Golden straw color with lots of bubbles and a thick white head that's quick to dissipate. A little funk on the nose, with a dry and powdery biscuits aroma. A little sweet up front in the taste, with modestly funky tartness in the middle and a fairly clean finish. Medium bodied for the style with good carbonation. Pretty decent, maybe a bit more malt sweetness than the classics.

Dated September 2015, I think. Stamp is kinda smeared. Today is October 6. Poured into a glass. Bubbles disappear like seltzer water. Cloudy yellow appearance. Taste is cidery vinegary sour nastiness. I love FFF but this one is ridiculous. I can't believe all the positive reviews. Did I get a bad bottle or what? Not one bad review? Really?

22oz bottle split between a pair of snifters. Bottle brought in a suitcase from Chicago by my in-laws. 06/10/2015 is the date stamped on the shoulder of the bottle.
Pours a little cloudy, yellow amber, with no head, and moderate carbonation. Smell is funk, lemon, and not much else. Smells good.
Taste is unripe green grape tart, green apple tart, and a little bit of can-of-pears-juice sweetness. It has a very sharp tartness that makes me think of sweet-tarts, but more fruity.
Mouthfeel is smooth and surprisingly effervescent. Overall, quite nice beer.

650ml bottle, 2014 release, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a golden copper color, hues of straw and orange, lightly hazy with a finger or so of white head, low retention that yields no lace. The aroma is of tart lemon, green apple, pale grain and mineral qualities, simple and inviting. The flavors mirror nicely, tart citrus, apples, light funkiness, pale grain with fairly minerally at the finish. The body is lively, bubbly and crisp, ample carbonation that prickles the mouth and finishes with light sharpness but is generally easy.
Verdict: A very refreshing beer from Three Floyds and easily one of the simplest beers they've made. Fairly true to style, although much higher ABV, although you'd hardly notice the difference between this and a 2-3% ABV berliner. Perhaps a bit too acidic, but thirst quenching nonetheless.

Thanks to Chris for sharing.
Pours a fairly clear golden color with a nice head.
Smell is very sour.
Taste is more sour than you would expect for a Berliner. Nice sour punch to the mouth, strong acidity, some light golden fruit and wheat flavors.
Mouthfeel is strongly acidic.
Overall, I really enjoyed this beer. I like a straight shot of sour and this provided. Doesn't stay true to the Berliner style (based on the other Berliners I've tried), but great otherwise.

an opaque peach/orange in color with a finger of head which quickly diminished. aroma of citrus, caramel, and definitely a very acidic fruity overall scent. ohhhh that's refreshing! a wheaty overall flavor with LOTS of fruity acidity.. peach/apricot with a hint of wooden/bready flavors in the finish.
light body and high carbonation.. a very intense tart and refreshing beer.
really loving the hell out of this one. again, FFF nails yet another style down to the T.
