Received in trade. Stored at 34F. Poured into snifter.

A: Clear, golden amber appearance, with an inch of white head that quickly dissipated into a lacing that lasted throughout the session.

S: Grassy, lemony, light.

T: Upfront with the hops, but with a strong malty, sweet caramel backbone.

M: Thin going in, but it creates a thick after feel coating from the response to the hoppiness.

O: Great beer. Different than the typical DIPA, with a lighter, crisper more flora and lemony bite.

Appearance: Pours light, with an orange hue.

Smell: Not an overly distinctive smell, a light aroma of malt with small hints of floral hops. Smells sweet and nutty.

Taste: First touch of the tongue yields a charred caramel flavor, with notes of pine coming through as you let the beer travel. Good balance.

Mouthfeel: Similar to champagne, with an overly carbonated feel. However, this combined with the lightness of the body make each drink refreshing.

Overall: A very solid English style IPA. Worth purchasing again.
