Appearance: Pours light, with an orange hue.

Smell: Not an overly distinctive smell, a light aroma of malt with small hints of floral hops. Smells sweet and nutty.

Taste: First touch of the tongue yields a charred caramel flavor, with notes of pine coming through as you let the beer travel. Good balance.

Mouthfeel: Similar to champagne, with an overly carbonated feel. However, this combined with the lightness of the body make each drink refreshing.

Overall: A very solid English style IPA. Worth purchasing again.

A: Golden, clear orangish hue. Half inch head on the pour that fades quickly. Terrific lacing

S: Biscuity malts with a lot of caramel sweetness. Then, the hops come through, smells great. After it warms those hops sink into the background and the grain/malt powers up.

T: Sweet malt bomb on the front followed by a noticeable amount of hop bitterness. Warming alcohol notes mediciny caramel/ dark fruits. as you continue. The toasted oak is there but it's light. Just a great example of this style.

M: lighter bodied and verydrinkable. It lingers on the palate with strong flavors and warm biscuit notes.
Ample carbonation

O: Enjoyable 3 Floyd's take on a classic. I thought the hops would be the big feature but I was surprised by the maltiness. This is a great beer to cap off a hard week. The warming effect is pleasant and helps make each sip of the brew more enjoyable.
