German-Style Super Lager. Clean and traditional lager yeast dominates the aroma with some spicy, herbal and floral notes. Malty sweetness upfront with a strong, lasting bitterness and dry finish.

On draught at a pizza joint in Cinci.
Brassy with a tinge of orange in the glass. Thin but even head.
Nose of floral hops and apple.
Taste starts with dill pickle and slides into a breadiness, ending more floral with a trail of rye flavor (not sure that there is any rye in the mix, but flavors are reminiscent). Rides the line between sweet and dry.
Nice short floral finish with a twinge of bittering.
Slammable beer. Quite delicious. The 5.7% allows for a few, but be careful. You could easily get carried away with this tasty lager from 3 Floyds.

Pouring very clear with a thick, bright white head. Nose almost smells like a sour. Taste is bitter and bready with a back bite that is sharp and a bit harsh, in a good way.

They simply cannot get out of their hoppy way. Even as Three Floyds Brewing dabbles in the art of perfecting Germanic styles of lagers, the involvement of hops usually ends up heavy handed. Yet with the haze that's fallen across the beerscape, its nice to have a drier, more bitter, crisper India Pale Lager.
Pale gold and nearing bright clarity, Kinder Gott Yeager crowns with a frothy ivory cap. Spicy and floral no the nose, a fresh kilned grain scent reveals nuances of baking bread, grasses and herbs. Its gentle sweetness is fuller than the average lager a flavors of honeysuckle and wafter decorate the early palate.
A quick turn of flavors trend favorably hoppy across the middle palate with the taste of dried citrus, lemongrass and melon that supplants any grain sweetness with a herbal bouquet that's pleasantly grassy, botanical and resinous. Bitter with elements of green tea, mint, fresh cut grass, lemon pepper and parsley, sassafras and spruce, the late palate is quick, spicy and quite gripping on the gullet.
Medium bodied but fuller for lager, the bold malt structures are firm but do get outplayed by the drying nature of hops and the modest spice of alcohol that leaves an evaporative cooling on the palate, lightening its impressions in texture. A long and spicy bitterness easily outlasts any malt influence or sweetness for a balance that much more aligns with IPA than that of Dortmunder Export Lager.
