A creamy lager that is very enjoyable. More flavorful than most lagers on the market, but at the end of the day it is still just a lager.

The pretty appearance and clean, dry drinkability are what give this beer an outstanding polish that many micro lagers lack. The dryness keeps the palate going back for more, however the aftertaste never leaves you desperately wanting the front of the palate back, so even when the glass is empty, the aftertaste leaves you feeling satisfied that you have drank something worth having another.

Beautiful clear golden straw color with a thick white head and sparse bubbles rising slowly to the surface. Leaves thick rings of lacing on the glass.

A malt-forward aroma, with no hops to speak of, but a little white pepper in the background.

Clean-tasting, again with the sweet malt flavor most pronounced, while still fairly crisp, and a little spiciness on the back end.

Great beer for a spring day.

Poured into a teku glass. Thanks, Darren.

A: A clear golden with a white half finger head that sits a while. Thick lacing.

S: Corny grains dominate with a bit of citrus.

T: Now this is nice. Sweeter than most lagers, which I didn't mind. Smooth and grainy. Light biscuity malts.

M: Light to medium with just the right amount of carbonation.

O: I didn't know what to expect, but 3F never lets me down. A great back porch or lawn cutting summer lager. Sessionable.

Look - Bright lager yellow. White smooth head. Lacing disappears in seconds.

Smell - Malty. Bready. Sweet.

Taste - Sweeter than most in beginning. Malty finish.

Feel - Feels like fizz water. Not creamy but not overly carbonated.

Overall - A solid lager. I drank a Blatz yesterday and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference (I like Blatz though).

Haven't had a lager in a long time and now I remember why this one is pretty bad below average lager

12 oz. bottle, with bottled on date 03/12/2015 printed on the bottleneck. Props to Three Floyds for finally bottle dating. It's been a long time since I've last had this beer, so I figured it was time for a revisit. Acquired a single bottle at the local beer store.

Poured into a clear balloon snifter.

A - It pours a bright crisp golden orange body, slightly cloudy, with one finger of bone white head. Leaves good scattered lacing behind.

S - A simple, but pleasant aroma: floral / herbal from the Noble hops, but mostly bready & malty, with a touch of sweetness. Smells very clean.

T - The taste follows the nose - a simple, but well-executed beer: floral / herbal hop presence, and a good dose of sweetened, bready / grainy pilsner malts.

M - The feel is smooth, crisp, & clean. Very fluid and easy-drinking; light-bodied. Refreshing, even.

Overall, a simple, but classic take on the style from Three Floyds. Definitely doesn't push any boundaries, but sometimes that's okay. I remember being unimpressed with it the last time I drank it, but I would drink this one again. Well-executed, to be sure.
