A: A two finger head formed with tiny bright white bubbles in the teku glass. The foam sustained for about a minute then fell in the hazy orange liquid leaving a honey comb lacing on the edge of the glass.

S: Strong pine and citrus hop aroma with a grapefruit undertone. no malt or yeast esters that I can pick out, but the hops are very bright and clean.

T: A crushing pine, citrus and slighty catty bitterness that overtakes your pallet on the first sip. A few more sips in and the tropical fruit hop flavors come through in the middle and end and the bitterness isn't so dominant. slight, but noticable toasty, biscuity malt flavors twords the end.

M: Moderate to low carbonation, right on for the style if you ask me. The body is medium with enough to have the malts noticable. An oily bitterness is left on the pallet after you've taken a few sips.

O: With Perminent Funeral being 'one off' this might be the next best thing. similar hop flavors but with lots more bitterness and a slightly different array of hop flavors.

A - Pours a hazy copper with a one-finger foamy white head. Nice amount of lacing.

S - Lots of hops and tropical fruits. Lots of orange and grapefruit.

T - Just like the smell piney hops with loads of grapefruit and orange. Nice aggressive bitterness in the finish.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very easy drinking for a 9% alcohol beer.

O - Fantastic DIPA. Highly recommended.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass.

appearance light copper, somewhat hazy with medium head retention

Smell Earthy stone fruit with hints of guava. Kind of an Midwest/east coast styled aroma.

Taste Stone fruit with a sturdy malt backbone and earthy guava notes.

Mouthfeel medium and appropriate for a dipa. Carbonation was spot on and had the staying power to last for the whole bomber.

Overall This beer was a great dipa. I enjoyed the earthy stone fruit notes and the balance was superb.
