A - Hazy apricot orange body. Off-white head has nice retention and lace.

S - Fresh hop nose; dandelions, and pine. Touch of orange citrus and pith.

T - Aggressive bitterness with a touch of citrus. Orange marmalade, grapefruit rind, and pine resin. Plant stem bitters throughout the profile. Dry finish.

M - Medium frame with nice staying power.

O - A DIPA for bitter-minded hop-heads.

Golden amber colored crystal clear beer with a nice finger of head that leaves good lacing. The smell is grapefruit, pine, citrus zest, grass, malt in the background. Also pineapple, papaya, and mango. The taste is very bitter, with grapefruit, grass, pine, citrus zest and lemon-lime. The mouth feel is light-med but w a tongue numbing bitterness. Alc is covered. Overall this is an amazing dipa, and would be similar to palate wrecker imho.

Picked up a bottles of this at the brewpub for $10 each a couple months ago.

Pours a glowing, slightly hazy orange with a patchy, frothy off-white head that leaves chunks of foam on the glass on the way down. Orange, lemon drop and grapefruit hops fill my nostrils with the first sniff. A balancing bread malt is discernible at the back. Hops in force completely dominate the taste. Orangey, citrusy, tropical fruit notes mingle with pale malt doughyness and a complimentary bit of alcohol heat. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a creamy medium carbonation level. Mouthcoating bitterness in the long high alpha finish. Alcohol is well hidden throughout.

This is another benchmark DIPA from 3Fs. Lots of concentrated, fruity, citrusy hop aromas with a dangerous drinkability for the ABV. A must try for any craft beer fan.

Bomber poured into a stemmed tulip glass.

A- Golden apricot-orange color, slight haze, creamy head that fades to a film. All sorts of sticky lacing.

S- No doubting the hops. I pick up tropical and peach and mango aromas with some pine. Just a trace of citrus on the nose. Malt sweets and warm alcohol round it out.

T- The citrus hops come on strong now. Malt backbone and some sweetness back up the hops.

M- Full body, no burn. Hops throughout but not overwhelming. The 9.0 abv is sneaky. I's well carbonated, rightly so with all that density.

O- One more grain of sugar, drop of alcohol, etc., and this brew would be over the edge. It happens to stop on the spot.
