A 22 oz bomber poured into a snifter glass.

Off gold color, rather hazy. Foamy white head kind of fine. Not much lacing

Really like the smell but the taste surprised me. Lots of apricot in there which I really like.

Good taste with a malt and some sweetness included. The apricot is there but not as much as the smell.

A little too much carbonation. Could have been blended so much better.

Liked the bitter finish to remind me it's a double IPA.

Would definitely have another one.

Bottled 1/21/15; drank 2/21/15 @ the Palace.

Poured from the bottle into a glass.

Semi-opaque orange appearance.

Eggshell head; thick lace.

Mango & fresh pine nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Mango & fresh pine flavors up front; no booze heat or excessive bitterness on the finish. Nicely balanced & easy to enjoy.

Another fantastic beer by three floyds. Bottled 11-1-16 drank on 11-15-16. At first it reminded me of the permanent funeral, but once it warmed up a bit, it is much sweeter. Very juicy. Loved every sip

The old artwork on these was awesome, like classic rock meets prog metal. This is a yellow beer. Plenty of chill haze going on. 1/2" white head. Aroma was interesting, dry, grassy, yet hoppy, different than your usual citrus and pine droppage.

Taste now does kick down the pine that wasn't in the nose. Still super dry mouth feel. Plenty of hops, they're just different. So much citra lately, this isn't that. Some pineapple creeps in downbottle as it warms.

Expensive format, very good beer, but prolly would not bang again unless they return to that awesome Molly Hatchet like artwork.

First had poured from 22-oz. bomber, stamped bottled on "6-7-16," into TEKU. Fruitier than many of 3Fs' big I/PAs, Arctic Panzer Wolf still showcases the expected huge hops.

I won't have this again...unless offered a sip to change my mind.
I simply am not a fanboy of huge doses of hops covered-up by high alcohol levels.

Has a really nice hazy orange appearance with a bit of clarity. A decent amount of carbonation coming up the glass too.
Aromas of oranges marmalade, white grape, apricot and pine.
Tastes are pretty similar with the bitterness really asserting itself with the piney notes coming out.
The mouthfeel is medium-full with a strong lingering bitterness. The tastes do linger well also.
Overall a good dipa although not quite up to the standard of dreadnought and permanent funeral.
