Had on tap at Three Floyds during the Zombie Dust excursion. Served in an imperial pint glass.

A: Pours a solid amber throughout with an aggressive two finger head forming on the pour. It sticks around for a little while and leaves splotchy sheets of lace throughout.

S: Caramel and bready malts are most present with some slight orange citrus and a little bit of floral hops at the backend.

T: The hops are earthy and grassy with a mild orange citrus burst. Mild floral notes lead to a caramel like malty sweetness.

M: Medium bodied with an ample carbonation for the style. Drinkability is high.

O: A nice sessionable drink. The flavors aren't too aggressive which allow for multiple pints. A very solid beer.

Served into a FFF pint glass. Orange with a slightly reddish white one finger head with decent retention and minimal lacing. Smell is big citrus hops - grapefruit, lemons, a good showcase of New Zealand hops. Taste is bitter hops with a slightly sweet malt presence, lots of lemon rind and grapefruit, tons of bright citrus, slightly earthy. Body is lighter then I would have expected, dry with a medium carbonation. Has a clean finish and a bitter aftertaste. A good IPA, interesting to try something made with lots of NZ hops, but far from my favorite FFF beer or American IPA.

I had this on tap at the Brewpub.

A: This poured pretty cloudy, with a slight bit of solid, whole non-cloudiness in the center. The head was spider web material.

S: I got a bit of mild orange, hops, and that is about it. Nothing special so far.

T: Nice citrus orange flavor overall, with a bit of malt push to give it some character.

M: This was fairly well carbonated... Much more so than the 219 I tried earlier. Good lacing and with orange citrus lingering.

O: Good stuff, but compared to their other hoppy offerings (Dreadnaught, Zombie Dust, Alpha King, etc.), this was a mere passing brew.
