I'd like it more if I wasn't allergic to overly hoppy beers.

It's very good. I don't believe it is overhyped, nor are most beers, but it's a very good IPA, lots of tropical fruits, crisp, dry and tasty. It's good, but after having had so many other IPAs, I've realized that the grass is always greener when hearing about beers from across the river.

Zombie Dust never fails to disappoint. This beer pours golden with an appetizing haze. The aroma hits you with a burst of fresh cut grass and chopped fruits. The mouthfeel is satisfyingly medium bodied with a lively fizz and a depth of taste that awakens your tongue. There is a je ne sais quoi here - something that drives both hopheads and casual beer drinkers alike to go wild over this beer. I think it has something to do with the bold but not overpowering hopping and the incredible gush of tropical fruit that sets this apart.

Poured into a Duvel snifter glass.

A - Poured a dark honey color, formed a finger of dense and creamy, slightly off-white head.
S - Amazing. Oranges, hops, grapefruit, apples, pineapple, mango, peach, persimmons. One of the most bright, vibrant and tropical aroma's I've ever smelled on a beer.
T - Very similar to the nose, but not as sweet, more like the savory side of these fruits. I would have preferred these tastes be just slightly sweeter, but the taste is amazing regardless.
O - This beer isn't just hype, it really is great. for me, the beer would be a perfect 100 had the taste matched the aroma's sweetness just a bit more, but as it stands it is still an A+ beer in my books. Definitely the best pale ale I've ever had and I highly recommend it.
V - The value is good because if you've got it in your hands, you probably had to work for it, thus you're probably willing to pay whatever price tag is on it. Seriously though, it is worth every penny.

On tap at Miller's Pub in the Loop
Have only ever had this one from bottles so it was nice to try it on tap. Great use of citra, the nose really pops, but the mouthful may be the best thing here -- from almost the start to almost the end, there is a constant (somehow) smooth yet biting bitterness that keeps you wondering when it is going to give out, and it keeps on going.
