Tastes sharply of peppery and slightly fruity hops, with marked astringent tannic, tea-leaf flavors. However, the hop flavors are not as defined as in "Space Station Middle Finger," for instance, or several other IPAs; the beer has taken a bit of a step back from last year, in my opinion.

Dear god this is a dream beer!

A- Little bit of a darker orange hue for a typical APA or IPA, nice slight head. Unfiltered and beautiful

S- what a great smell! what extra pale ales or american pale ales usually lack in hop smell, this hits in spades

T- more hop flavor than a typical APA, this one is so good. Citrus, pine, and pure yumminess!

F- Pretty crisp and fresh, great mouthfeel

O- if you get the chance, drink this beer :)

Orange-yellow, pillowy head. Straight strong Citra, grapefruit, lemon zest. Drinks like an incredibly smooth IPA. Simply awesome

Lucky enough to race into Binny's in time to nab the last sixer. This offering doesn't come to Michigan so I was PUMPED to get it. Actually drank it on tap at Clark St. Bar (I think that's what it was called) Anyway...

Light amber color, off-white head that hangs out for a good portion of the experience.

Smells floral, hoppy (hoppier than the taste actually is), fruits

Tastes like a 5. Like a Pale Ale done absolutely right.

Feels like a dream

Overall - excellent.

12 oz bottled 12/1/2014. Poured into a Tired Hands taster glass

Appearance: Pours a light golden amber color with 3 fingers of an off white head with good retention and lacing. Body is mostly clear, but with some very fine suspended sediment and light visible carbonation.

Smell: Grapefruit, pine, mango jelly, slight malt character.

Taste: Same as the aroma. Pine, tropical fruit and citrus stand out. Lots of grapefruit in the finish and aftertaste. Almost the perfect amount of malt sweetness to balance the whole thing out. Medium bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light medium bodied with a somewhat soft mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Overall: Really great beer. One of the best pale ales/IPAs out there.
