Look: Orange, golden color with a head that stayed the entire time.
Smell: Apricot and citrus. Lord love the citra hop
Taste: what work by the brewer balancing such a strong smelling and tasting hop with the a slight bread taste from the malt. You get what you smell and never once feel overpowered with the citra hop.

This beer is probably top 3 for me. Wow, is all I can come up with. I love when hype is met in this community. Hope I can find it again soon.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into pint glass, beer is less than 4 weeks old.

Appearance: Pours honey orange with some haze to it. Head is bright white and lasts for only a minute or two. Leaves soap sud lace in sheets with big bubbles clinging to the glass. Must be bottle conditioned as I got some unexpected sediment in the poor but overall a good looking beer.

Aroma: Heavy on tropical aroma of pineapple and mango with hints of candied grapefruit and sweet orange peel. Very fruity bouquet of aromas that doesn't carry much malt or pine aromas. Smells like a hoppy fruit bomb. For a pale this aroma is intense.

Taste: Juicy fruit is really the best descriptor here, the mango and pineapple medley continues onto the pallet , have never had a beer with such focused hop character with such a balance of bitterness and malt character. The hops are by far the star of the show but in the most complex yet drinkable manner possible. Much bigger on mango and pineapple and still hints of citrus but a great strong fruit flavor. A small amount of biscuit and caramel pokes through but overall this has to be the closest thing to drinking hop aroma as possible. Excellent. World Class.

Mouthfeel: Carbonation and body are perfect and refined. No bitter aftertaste or heavy dryness or acidity. Excellent across the board.

Overall: With the exception of the small amount of haze to the beer it is in fact world class. Squeezing the amount of flavor and aroma into a beer that resembles fruit so much takes a lot of skill. Especially if this is really 100% citra which can get tricky in bittering. It deserves its spot as the king of pale ales for now at least.
