look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

Description: Cloudy with a golden, hay color. Little to no head but does leave some white lacing on the glass. The smell is clean, fresh and floral/fruit (peach, mango, orange) with minimal bitterness. Unlike the smell, the taste is somewhat bitter and the floral notes are more subdued than in the aroma. The taste was good but felt a little one note. Feel was thick and velvety for an APA.

Suggested food pairing: Burger

If you like this beer then you should also try: PseudoSue

Overall: 4.25 (This beer is good and I would likely have it again) Both being elite APAs, I wanted to benchmark this against PseduoSue. To me, PseduoSue was better...like MUCH better. Not even close. With all the hype surrounding this Zombie Dust, I was pretty excited to try it. It's a good beer, but only just a "good" one. I didn't find anything particularly special or interesting about it. If it's available then, yes, give it a shot. But I wouldn't make a priority out of finding it or exert any extra effort to get a hold of one.

Had on draft during a Hill Farmstead event. It held up pretty darn well. Was still overshadowed by everything else, but what do you expect? I would love to score a bottle of this to compare to draft.

I had a taste of this at the Lexington beer festival this summer-3 ounces. I've been looking for it since. I got my grubby hands on two 12 ounce bottles tonight! Pours a golden copper color. Aroma is citrus fighting pine. Poured with small head. Grapefruit, ripe tangerine pine taste. Walkups the back of the tongue. Mild bitterness. In the long run, well worth waiting for!

12 oz. bottle poured into a FFF tulip pint

A- Golden, honey-like. A tiny bit of haze. White head holds at one finger, and leaves behind some nice sticky lacing.

S- Pineapple, grapefruit peel, orange, peach, juicy all around. Sweet biscuity malt.

T- Bready background, sweet again. Juicy citrus and pineapple. A little dry citrus peel as well.

M- Medium light body. Smooth carbonation. Dry finish, and not overly bitter. Just right.

O- I only get to have this a couple times a year, when I'm back home in Indiana, but boy do I look forward to drinking this one. This one is amazing. It's amazing this is hard to get, even though it's made year round.
