A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color with a light amount of visible carbonation and some hues of amber. It poured with a short off white head that died down, leaving wispy patches of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of tropical fruits stand out in the nose—mangos, papayas and pineapples seem to stand out in particular. If you close your eyes, you can almost picture yourself smelling a blend of tropical fruit juices.
T: Following the smell, the taste is dominated by flavors of tropical fruits from the hops, the latter of which contribute a light amount of bitterness. No malts are perceptible.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: For an APA, this beer has strong tropical fruit aromas and flavors that surpass that from Double IPAs. It is also very easy to drink given the lighter body nature of the beer.

Color, taste, everything about this beer has been a delight! It was the second beer I had had from Three Floyd's and has been the best to date (followed by their Blackheart). This pale has a unique taste that's almost hard to describe; I would go into deeper detail if I could only get my hands on some more.

Glass Used: Nonic

Appearance: ZD poured a cloudy honey color with a finger thick marshmallow colored foam floating on top; ultimately this settled to a thin film on the surface.

Smell: Sweet clover honey, pineapple, tangerine & grapefruit, hoppy floral notes dance around the glass. I get some bready malt notes as well. Great smelling beer.

Taste: Wow, the sweet-bitter balance is done perfectly here. Floral hoppiness, followed by a medley of citrus and honey and followed with the breadiness of the malt and the expected hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Creamy, body is full of carbonation but not overwhelming or overdone. Medium-dry finish.

Overall: Hands down, top 3 beers that I've had. Thanks Pintofbrown.
