Acquired a fresh six pack (bottled 06/19/14) via trade.

It's a fantastic beer; every sip tastes the same as the first - an explosion of citra hops with a slightly bitter finish. I could easily crush a full six pack in one night.

Wish ZD was easier to find in Ohio. However, there are some good local beers that taste similar.

A - Med carbonation. cloudy light brown, red-orange appearance. Finger high, off white kahki colored medium dense head, seems to linger. Light lacing hangs on.

S - Malty, sweet, molasses smells, I also pick up a bread and a slight citrus. Aroma draws you into wanting a sip. Med to light aroma over all. Smells light a pale ale should.

T - Mild hops up front, layered with malts very well. Citrus mixed with the hops. Finishes clean with the sweet control but allowing the hops to stick around

M - Med mouth/cream to this beer. Very smooth. The mouth feel draws you into wanting another sip.

O - This pale ale hits it on all notes, this is what I want in an ale, well balanced flavors, not to heavy or robust at all. Hops play well with malts and add just the right kick of citrus.
