A big thanks to Corey for this. I almost feel unworthy for reviewing such an iconic beer with this being my first and only one, however, I think it would be criminal not to give a shot. Zombie Dust pours a beautiful bright amber with a foamy just off white head that holds excellent retention with moderate lacing. Smells like a classic pale ale in the best of ways: citrus, grapefruit, pine, and a bit floral complimented by a simple lightly caramel forward bready grain. Excellent body. Crisp and smooth, decently carbonated, well balanced, and (to my disappointment) went down way too easily. Overall, this is an outstanding pale ale and I can easily see why it has gotten so much attention and praise after all these years. I could drink this all day, everyday. Cheers!

Hoppy, clean, classic. Six pack bottled on 5/30, drank within four weeks. Tons of great reviews available so I'll keep it brief and stick to the highlights - floral and citrus aroma bursts forth from beneath the cap. Amber hue with a nice thick two-fingerhead that lingers. Taste is fresh cut citrus, grapefruit, orange peel and pith, pine and resin. Feel is light - so crisp and incredibly drinkable. The bottle drained way too quickly, whether because of its supreme drinkability or my excitement I don't know. But it fucking vanished.

I can see why this beer is considered a true classic that has stood at or near the top of the pile of contenders. If I had access to it regularly it would be a fridge mainstay. Drinks crisp and clean with a lightness that belies the IPA-standard ABV. Must taste unreal out of a fresh keg. Is it a perfect beer? I have no idea but it's undoubtedly special.

In a world of NEIPA focus, the citra forward Zombie Dust still reigns. Extremely drinkable with awesome notes of grapefruit citrus. The overall smooth mouthfeel really rounds this beer out perfectly.
