Beautiful look feel and smell to this beer, but too bitter and a bit like being hit in the head with an anvil. Not my favorite 3 Floyds beer.

Zombie dust isn't a bad pale ale, although I think it's not worth the price or the effort to get it. I think Daisy Cutter is a much hoppier and honey-flavores pale ale than this, so zombie is definitely on the drier side. I did very much enjoy Alpha King, which is a bit more hoppy and much smoother, at the same time easier to find.

Great beer. Very easy to drink. A little overhyped but still an excellent beer.

Great Beer. Feel like it isn't what it used to be.

Poured from 12oz bottle into glass. Bottling date is stamped as 9-28-17.
Golden colored body, persistent white cap, good amount of lacing.
Tropical and citrus fruit lead the aroma, with some bready malt in the background.
Well balanced taste of tropical and citrus, backed by malt. Classic rind bitterness at the end.
Very thick mouth feel for a pale ale, totally lip smacking.
A wonderfully balanced and classic style American pale ale. Totally tasty and quaffable.

Copper pour, good, tight head. Lots of floral and citrus hops on the nose. Starts with sweet citrus on palate, then finishing with a piney bitterness.

12oz bottled 9/28/17 poured into a 3F tulip pint glass at fridge temp. The beer pours bright orange amber in color with generous, sticky off white head. Retention and lacing are world class. The aroma is strong citrus fruit and peel. The taste is intense citrus with a background of pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, well carbonated and dry. There is some oily and powdery hop presence in the feel of this beer that is unique and powerful. Overall, excellent. This beer disappears in a day, every week, at every store in town. Still relevant and pursued in spite of 1000s of new IPAs available. Recommended.
