A robust Aesir porter brewed with our friends, the band Amon Amarth. Deep-roasted malts and honey give this beer its dark color and rich mouth feel. When Heimdal sounds the Gailar Horn for the last battle, this is the beer the gods will drink.

Pours clear deep brown with medium brown highlights. Thin light brown head that only lingers around the edge.
Aroma is a mix of roasted malts and hops--citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and pine. Little alcohol.
Roasted malts with a light caramel sweetness and coffee bitterness upfront. Some piney hops. Roasted malts continue through the finish with a grapefruit hop bitterness too. A bit smokey at the finish. Lingering roasty and grapefruit bitterness.
Medium body with medium carbonation. Clean finish.
Interesting hopped-up brown ale. Enjoyable, but gets a little boring after a while.
