Appearance was a reddish amber color. Not much of a nose on this. Taste was straight up bitter. I couldn't detect any real hops, just pure bitterness. Very dry with almost no sweetness. The opposite of a juicy IPA. I really wanted to love this beer but it fell short for me.

On-tap at Tipsy Cow in Madison, WI. 10oz poured into a tulip glass today, 3/25/2014.

App- clear orange body, one finger white head with good retention. Nice lacing.

Smell- dank citrus hops, orange, grapefruit. Not much scent of Belgian yeast even as it warms. Nothing that says Belgian yeast. But this is a nice hoppy American IPA to me.

Flavour- like the smell. Citrus hops, grapefruit. A nice caramel toffee presence. Not much Belgian yeast presence.

Mouthfeel- medium bodied, just about the right bit of carbonation. Bitter, fairly piney. Again no mention of Belgian yeast here.

Overall- nice IPA by FFF but I don't even get the Belgian contribution. Very good but not that much different than their other hoppy offerings.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy copper hue with a nice one finger head that fades to leave a light thin blanket.

S - Aromas of dank hops, started off nice and tropical then became mostly malts, doh!

T - Taste is mostly malts, caramel, light creamy flavour, older hops, bitter pine resin, light orange. Light fruity, very bitter finish.

M - Mouthfeel is is nice, alcohol is hidden well.

O - Overall this was a solid dipa, just on the older side, was probably once awesome.

Orange colored, full inch of white, dense head. Aroma wasn't all that hoppy for any kind of dipa, but whatchagunna do?

A little bit of tropical, citrusy taste from the hops, but everything else comes in stronger. Not overly spice racky, plenty bready malt. Somewhat complex despite lacking hops. An interesting beer, but not anything I'll seek out again.

Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottleneck says Bottled On 02-10-16.

A- Pours a dark amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains very well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves thick solid ring behind.

S- Huge pineapple aroma is quite inviting.

T- Signature FFF house yeast character with a great punch of citrusy, resinous hops. Plenty of malt sweetness to balance out the hop flavor and the bitterness is not quite as intense as expected. Alcohol is superbly well hidden. The little bit of Belgian yeast presence that's there accentuates the hops' fruit character.

M- Somewhat sharp from the hops and even a bit sticky from the malt and residual sugars. Medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- FFF may be a one-trick pony but it happens to be a trick I'm complacent with revisiting again and again and again. So incredibly drinkable for the ABV and bursting with tasty hop goodness. The Belgian aspect is kind of lost on me here but I'm not deducting points simply because of how great the beer is regardless of whatever style in which it's being classified.

Pours a hazy amber, big cap of soapy white froth, good sticky lacing. Scent brings big amounts of citrus and tropical fruits with a heavy dose of pine, firm spicyness, sweet sugary malt backbone. Taste brings strong fruity hops, backed by spicy and lightly bready yeast component, malts sweet but not overly aggressive. Smooth, almost creamy body. Really nice beer with strong flavor and good balance between the components.

22 ounce bottle, bottled on 02/25/2015. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like stone fruit, apples, citrusy and pine hops, and bready malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some peppery spice, candied oranges, citrus peel and a bit of clove noticeable. There's also a good lingering bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick, smooth and goes down easy. Moderate carbonation. I liked this brew, certainly worth picking up! $11.99 a bomber.

On tap at Holy Grale in Louisville, poured into a snifter

a: pours a hazy amber with 2 finger white head with good retention and leaves some spotty lacing

S: dominated by  orange citrus, some pine, a hint of malt and Belgian yeast

T: orange and lemon  citrus hops, a small amount of malty sweetness and some nice fruitiness from the Belgian yeast, maybe a hint of bubblegum

MF: medium body, moderate carbonation, hoppy bitterness lingers on the palate for a while

O: Quite hop forward but contrasted nicely by some malty sweetness and fruitiness from the Belgian yeast, which adds a real nice touch. The alcohol is very well hidden. This beer has appeared twice in Louisville and I've been very lucky to have multiple pours of it both times. I would say it's a must try if you have the chance.

Aroma is pine, cream/vanilla, sugar/candy/Belgian yeast and citrus. The flavor is citrus, Belgian yeast, vanilla/cream, malts and a mix of bitter, tart and slightly sweet funk in the finish. A style I don't care for, not surprised FFS made a really good one.
