22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 12/7/16, had 2/19/17.
Pours a bright, clear orange, with a half inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast. spices- cloves, for one, a light orange aroma, allspice maybe, some smoke and black pepper, a little funk. The taste also starts with the yeast, then malt, cloves, other spices, light orange and white grapes, some pine, some allspice and black pepper. Get a little saltiness, too, and some sweetness. Decent hop bitterness up front. Smooth, somewhat dry, crisp, a good, medium body, well carbonated.
This is solid, good flavor and aroma. While it was very enjoyable, I found it to be fairly straightforward, nothing to really point to. This is in opposition to a number of reviews below mine, so maybe this just didn't mesh when I had it. Had a nice price point, so it's certainly worth a try.

Poured into a snifter. Great looking beer. A crystal-clear copper-orange color with a thick off-white head. Sweet on the nose: honey, banana, bubble gum, nutmeg, some peppery spice as well. The esters shined on the first sip, with lavender, pepper, roses, and then the sweet malt. The malt was restrained compared with the smell. In fact, this finished a bit dry which might explain the muted malt character. Tasty and interesting, but I was left wanting a bit more.
